KF Honing’s climate-controlled facility is designed to achieve precision tolerances to meet any honing challenge. Our precision honing capabilities include holding tolerances of .0001″ straightness, .000050″ roundness and surface finishes down to a 2 Ra. We hone materials from .040″ to 7.3″ in diameter and up to 36″ in length.

As a result, KF Honing is capable of honing any material in any bore configuration. Sure, we do all of the run-of-mill honing, but we have the capacity to take on challenging honing projects that other contractors won’t even attempt. KF Honing also differentiates itself by investing in diverse equipment, including a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Such diversity is unusual for a honing company, but KF Honing is committed to providing clients with exceptional customer service that goes beyond just the most basic honing services.
