Founded in 1987 under the premise of doing one thing well, KF Honing specializes in precision honing and close tolerances. In our temperature-controlled and humidity-controlled honing shop, we create an environment conducive to precision tolerances. KF Honing specializes in small bore honing under 4″ in diameter and under 18″ in length. Precision Honing Since 1987 in Northern WI

Bob and Judy Mijolevic opened KF Honing in 1987 in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, choosing the name KF Honing to stand for Kids’ Future. When it was time to retire, they had secured their kids’ future yet they wanted to keep KF Honing’s legacy alive. They entrusted their family business to Robert Stimac, who owned and operated an Antigo grinding and milling shop. 

Sister Company to Superior Grinding

Today, KF Honing operates in the same facility as Superior Grinding, 520 Industrial Park Road, Antigo, Wisconsin. Employees of KF Honing and Superior Grinding are cross-trained for efficiency and flexibility. Together, the two organizations provide high quality, on-time, and affordable precision honing, grinding, and milling services for clients throughout northern Wisconsin and the entire United States.

In addition to serving its customer base, KF Honing serves the Antigo and Elcho communities.
